Welcome Back
During football season, we welcome our Wakeland Band Alumni to join us in the stands during the 3rd Quarter. Please follow these procedures when visiting us in the stands to ensure student safety:
- We request that you only visit the band block during the 3rd Quarter.
- Please clear the band block with 4:00 left in the 3rd Quarter.
You are welcome to be down in the front and on the sides of the band section, but not in the block/among the performers. - Before entering the block, ask a director if it is ok to enter the band block. Sometimes, we are crowded with 8th graders, or perhaps have dealt with a situation with the section prior to your arrival. We ask that you check in with us before visiting students in the Band block.
- If you have a guest, please introduce them to a Band Staff member before bringing them into the block.
- Please be sure your language, attire, and demeanor are appropriate for high school students throughout your time with us.
- Please understand that these policies are in place to protect our students as well as to protect you.
